Best Summary about Unlocked Phones by Andrew Jameson

Who doesn’t have a cell phone these days; most of us probably can’t do without them anymore. Those who are looking to buy a cell phone have 3 options, buying unlocked phones, cell phones with service or prepaid phones. Buying a new phone is for most of us about the look of the phone, but when it comes down to choosing unlocked phones there are some important issues to look out for.

1) Travelling Abroad
Many countries use different frequencies that the cell phones operate on. Unlocked phones come in an US or an international version. If the phone is for local use then an US version is sufficient but if you have to travel abroad a lot you need to make sure you look out for what is known as an international version.

The international unlocked phones have what is called four bandwidths. This is very important as some countries you may be travelling to use different bandwidth from state to state. An example would be roaming, so make sure to buy a ‘quad band’ phone. Most of the unlocked phones you will find online are tri band and therefore are not legally classed as true international cell phones. You will find that most truthful sellers online will tell you if the phone is international, but most are US only.

2) Internet Access
Internet access and receiving emails on mobile phones is something that is commonly used. If this is an important feature to have on your phone then make sure to avoid China bought unlocked phones. They often do not work on your local web or WiFi, unless this is specifically specified. Although there are other unlocked international phones like the LG Shine (KE970) who will work in the US but you won’t be able to access the internet. So be sure to check this out carefully before buying your phone of choice.

3) Pay As You Go
One question that is often asked is if you can use an unlocked cell phone with Pay As You Go. The simple answer is yes, but be ware that not all do. Although generally all you need to do is put your SIM card in, and you’re ready to go!

4) Pricing

Although you could consider an international phone, because the great thing about these is that they usually offer huge price savings but the downside is that a lot of these don’t offer a warranty. If you go down the route of buying unlocked phones and you can’t do without surfing the net or staying in touch with your friends via twitter then make sure your phone of choice allows you to do so. And if you go abroad on a regular basis make sure you buy an international cell phone that has quad band capabilities, so you won’t be left speechless when it matters most.

A Gadget Makes Your Life Easier

By Tim Mathew

In this article I will debate the main points of why and how the gadgets can significantly improve our life.

Gadgets are enjoyable

First of all gadgets are very cool and they make us smile and say: wow, it’s great! A gadget can always make you feel better because they access your deepest needs: comfort, security, usefulness and maybe most important, you can play with them. Some would say that they like gadgets because they make their life easier. In my opinion we love gadgets because gadgets are toys. Gadgets are toys for the big boys or girls. We really enjoy playing with them, testing them and integrating them in our lifes. Babies have suzettes we have gadgets.

Gadgets equal many products in one

The best example is the Swiss Army Knife: knife, fork, spoon, screwdriver, tweezers, lantern, compass etc. In one compact product you get 10-50 other products. This is a very important characteristic of a gadget. A gadget incorporates every time more than one product.

Gadgets make our life easier

Let’s take for example the Thonka headband for iPod. It is designed to help Ipod users not to carry their iPod in their pockets. For some users who like jogging this could be very useful gadgets. When you will go for a run your iPod will not jump from your pocket, your hair will stay in place and your sweat will be retained.

Being a gadget fan will help you to be more productive and you’ll be able to concentrate more on your goals and job. Of course you must read gadgets reviews. A problem can occur when you become obsessed with gadgets (a gadget freak) and you buy gadgets only because they are the latest available and you must have them. It’s ok to play with gadgets but moderation is the main key word here.

Gadgets save us space

One important point is that gadgets help us save space. The “saving space” utility it’s a derivate of the principle “many products in one”. Let’s take for example the BlackBerry cell phone. The BlackBerry is a small stylish cell phone with the capabilities of a laptop. Of course it’s not a laptop or a notebook but with one single product you can talk, send e-mails, edit world documents, navigate on the Internet, chat and so on. For some dollars you get a nice piece of technology. Conclusion: Gadgets make our life easier, save our money and most important, our TIME

Gadgets really save us time, and time is our most important resource. Gadgets are relatively cheap if you take into consideration that it will cost you much more to buy 20 products that do different things than one that does them all. Gadgets are designed to have many utilities that will help us improve our productivity. And let’s not forget the fun part: we like playing with gadgets!

Mobile Phone Radiation – The Facts & How You Can Protect Yourself With This Simple Technique!

Executive Summary about Mobiles Phone by John Bertone

Firstly, it’s vital to point out that this short report is NOT one of my many tips or secrets related to saving an absolute fortune on your Mobile Phone expenses. It’s about something even more serious and that is – your health and quality of life!

Now it’s important for me to mention at this stage that I am not a scientist or a doctor, however being a person closely involved in the mobile phone industry for many years I wanted to give you a strong insight into the concerns about Mobile Phone Radiation and the protection you need from EMR (Electro Magnetic Radiation). Later in this report, I will give you some tips and pointers to ensure you are far less at risk by using some simple mobile phone radiation protection techniques!

In 2001 a leading Australian Scientist began researching a link between Mobile Phones and Cancer. Phone companies are insisting that mobile phones only omit low levels of radiation, but tests have shown that even exposure to low levels of radiation CAN be harmful

Long periods of time exposed to EMR can cause changes to cell structure and could ultimately lead to brain tumours

In June of 2004 a prominent neurosurgeon also carried out some research between Mobile Phones and Brain Tumours. Some of his findings were:

A 40% increase over the last 20 years (since the beginning of Mobile Technology) in Brain Tumours

Brain Tumours are now the No:1 threat for children overtaking LEUKAEMIA
Most of his Tumour patients had developed these Tumours just above the ear on the same side that they use their mobile phone
Strange Coincidence or FACT? Some other interesting facts to come out of tests on this subject were:

EMR (Electro Magnetic Radiation) can cause problems with the following:

The Reproductive System

Your Eyes

Memory and Reaction Times

Sleeping Patterns

Headaches, Dizziness and Nausea

Now don’t panic just yet because there are some ways to reduce your exposure to EMR or what’s commonly known as “Mobile Phone Radiation”

Here are some TIPS that I would recommend – for protection against mobile phone radiation.

First and foremost – try to reduce the AMOUNT of calls you make and receive on a mobile phone and where possible use your home phone. (Now here’s a Quick tip on this point too: – try to avoid the cordless phone because they are not much better!)
Take a look at the actual LENGTH of your calls because the longer the call the higher the possibility of more exposure to radiation.

I’m sure that if you’ve ever had an extremely long call you will recognise the signs like excessive heat around the ear area. This should be avoided as often as possible
Remember that if you’re using a portable hands-free (with a speaker & cord that runs up into your ear) you are NOT necessarily safe.

A controversial test in the UK had shown that radiation can actually travel up the cord and into your ear which can be even more harmful accelerating the damage being done.

Try to avoid keeping the phone ON or NEAR your body because there have even been links to infertility in men – (Frightening isn’t it!)
Ensure you get your point across and get off the phone! I wouldn’t recommend using your mobile to make lots of SOCIAL CALLS (these are usually quite lengthy in nature)… You could be frying your head while you’re gossiping.

Also avoid long calls BEFORE going to bed. Tests show that your quality of sleep suffers greatly as a result. You might like to consider getting yourself a mobile phone with an inbuilt SPEAKERPHONE – In other words a Mobile Phone that has an inbuilt HANDS-FREE feature to give you ultimate mobile phone radiation protection!

This way you’ll be able to actually place the mobile phone infront or away from you – for example on a table, and speak and listen to the other person – WITHOUT having the Mobile Phone near your head or ANY part of your body for that matter…

It could take 10-15 years before we really know the TRUTH about Mobile Phone Radiation and the effects of EMR’s. In the meantime, don’t be a person that ends up with a brain tumour just because the Mobile Phone industry is trying to protect its financial interests at the expense of you and your family’s HEALTH!

If you’re NOT currently using a mobile phone which has an inbuilt SPEAKERPHONE feature, you might like consider getting one soon.

Best Summary by Caroline Telford

Gone are the days when a person who wants to remain connected to the outside world would require different gadgets:

- Music or multimedia player
- Mobile phone
- Electronic organizer
- Handy games console
- Digital camera

Today, you can get all of these – and more in one nifty gadget which is the latest versions of the mobile phone to hit the market.

For example, instead of carrying a separate portable music player with you, you can just store your music library on a mobile phone.

If you often take snapshots of just about anything, you can just take out your mobile phone which doubles as a handy digital camera. No matter what application it is that you are looking for, there is a mobile phone which can do the job for you.

The Two Nokia N95 Versions: Different Strokes for Different Folks

The leading mobile phone manufacturer which specializes in releasing the most versatile mobile phone models in the market is Nokia.

The Nseries which is released by the mobile phone manufacturing company is a line of smartphones. These handsets are capable of multimedia applications, including music playback, video capture, Internet services, mobile gaming and the ability to take pictures.

Version 1: The Nokia N95 8GB

The Nokia 95 has a couple of versions and the first one is the Nokia N95 8GB. As the name implies, this model has an 8-GB internal flash memory. This is a drastic improvement over the very first version has of the Nokia N95 released, which only has 160 MB of internal memory.

As compared to the built-in cameras from other smartphones in the market, the Nokia N95 has an excellent 5-Megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics.

It also has built-in Global Positioning System mapping, a DVD-like quality footage and you can view e-mail messages with attachments. It has a Visual Radio feature where you can listen to music while interacting with your favorite radio stations.

The Nokia N95 also has 3G video calling, a RealPlayer media player, a stereo FM radio and an integrated music player.

Version 2: The Nokia N95 Sport

The second version of the Nokia N95 smartphone is the Nokia N95 Sport Red. It is actually a dual-slide camera phone with the same specifications as the N95 8GB.

This version is named ‘Sport’ because the Nokia N95 Sport has the ability to monitor and track your workout sessions using the latest fitness software.

If you are running, for example, the Nokia N95 Sport has GPS features which can depict the map of the route that you will take.

The downside of the Nokia N95 Sport is that it only has a 160 MB internal memory. However, it can be expanded to 2GB using microSD cards.

The exterior of the phone is brightened up by the red highlights along the body of the handset. Aside from the 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity, you can also enjoy a range of other applications from this phone.

The overall analysis for these two phones is that they are both packed with as much features as you can get from a Nokia Nseries phone. The only decision that you need to make is whether the 8GB memory, or the fitness software and sleeker appearance is more important for you.
